Blacksburg, Virginia, We are seeking a full time Doctor of Chiropractic for a fellowship position. Our clinics are in long-standing locations, with an established patient base in the local community. The foremost responsibility of a Fellow is to master all fundamentals necessary for the day-to-day operations of our clinics. This will involve working in conjunction with local clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care. The Fellow will begin to learn the requirements of leading a successful practice as defined by Patient Experience, Clinical Care Delivery and Outcomes, and Financial Sustainability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Learn skills for measuring success through Patient Experience, Clinical Care Delivery and Outcomes, and Financial Sustainability. Provide excellent patient care that is both effective and efficient. Improve clinical skills through hands-on care delivery, including adjustments, leveraging therapies, and working with other caregivers in the community. Learn patient care management including efficiencies and meaningful patient conversations Utilize correct coding for diagnosis and services performed in the clinic. Understand new patient paperwork, scheduling patients, and collecting funds. Learn scheduling, billing, and electronic health records in the Eclipse system. Work on putting patients on therapy. Work with the Vice President of Clinical Development on coverage work as needed to keep all clinics appropriately staffed with providers. Educational and Experience Requirements: Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an Accredited Chiropractic Program Licensed and in good standing with the State of Virginia Board of Medicine. Blacksburg, Virginia, We are seeking a part-time Doctor of Chiropractic for some consistent coverage work filling in during absences for a variety of reasons. Availability on short notice can be expected at times. Our clinics are in long-standing locations, with an established patient base in the local community. The foremost responsibility of a Coverage Doctor of Chiropractic is to provide patient care in the absence of the primary doctor in a clinic. This will involve working in conjunction with local clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care. This position will undergo a training and transition program to ensure they have the knowledge of Tuck Clinic’s Requirements for Patient Experience, Clinical Care Delivery and Outcomes, diagnosis coding and billing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure every patient gets the best possible experience. Meet individual Clinic requirements for patient experience and care delivery utilizing skills developed through training and in-the-clinic experiences. Provide basic daily leadership of local employee(s). Ensure clinical employee(s) are providing every patient with excellent patient care that is both effective and efficient. Develop and improve adjusting skills through hands on patient care and feedback from senior clinicians and absorb clinical tips while serving a diverse patient population. Utilize correct coding for diagnosis and services performed in the clinic. Maintain proper documentation in EHR for each patient encounter. Work with the Vice President of Clinical Development on coverage work as needed to keep all clinics appropriately staffed with providers. Educational and Experience Requirements: Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an Accredited Chiropractic Program. Licensed, insured, and in good standing with the Virginia Board of Medicine.
